A few highlights from Week 5:

  • hb34 - Medical Respite Care Pilot Program: Received final approval from the Senate, headed for the Governor's signature 

  • hb92 - Medical Practice Amendments: Returned to rules by House HHS committee (see UHPP's testimony here)

  • hb194 - Diabetes Prevention Program: Passed House, in Senate HHS tomorrow at 8:00 AM

  • hb262- Children's Health Insurance Amendments: Passed the House! Headed to Senate 

  • hb344 - Program Eligibility Amendments: Introduced. Will be heard in HHS tomorrow at 4.

    • ACTION ALERT: Use this easy form to contact committee members to ask them to vote against this unnecessarily burdensome and punitive proposal.

  • hb365 - State Agency Realignment: Introduced. Assigned to HHS. Contact committee members to ask for a delay to interim study.

  • HJR 13 - Joint Resolution Declaring Racism a Moral and Public Health Crisis: Introduced and assigned to HHS. 

  • sb103 - Dental Hygienist Amendments: Passed Senate. Assigned to House Business and Labor committee. 

  • sb158 - Children's Health Coverage Amendments: Passed Senate HHS! Headed to Senate floor. Contact your Senator in support of this great bill!
